The Talk is a place for everyone, who needs help and support through hard times. There is a group called ‘The wellness team’ who are kind are caring ,people who lead the team are ,Mrs Rotherham, Mrs Fenton, Mrs Wakefield ,Miss Smith , Mrs Rayworth, Mrs Bowen and Mrs Mycroft. We are now going to be hearing an interview by James, Amelia and Freya THE RIGHT ONE!
Hi, here are a few things that have happened that are (slightly) exciting! Firstly, at home the guinea pig rain cover had finally come so we could put it on their cage (at this point you are probably thinking that this is boring but do not stop reading) the reason this so great is because we had to keep them in side they kept squeaking through perfectly good T-V (I do not know what they had against it)?!
A really goods thing that has happened is that I P.E we have been doing hockey and it has been really fun! I really like playing football and basketball. My favourite subjects are English and Science I think they are really fun but maths is great too. I also really love playing among us!
Swimming galas are fun because you get take part in a friendly race with your friends. Also another fun sport you like to do like: Football, Swimming, Badminton, Tennis, Cricket, Basketball, Hockey, Tag rugby, races/athletics and gymnastics.
SPAIN

It took 2h 26m by plane to get there, even in first class! I was still tired. I stayed in a 5 star hotel with a four poster bed and marbled floor bathroom.
I am only 10 and I am here alone so I can do what I do. At 12.00 I went to the most famous water park in the whole world. Siam Park.
I stayed there about 3 hours then went to eat at the hotel. After that I was pretty tired and I dozed off. I woke up at the crack of dawn because of my early night so I went to the indoor pool to get fresher so I took the lift to the ground floor then somehow I saw Julek right in front of the lift door pretending to be a lifeguard. Then I took a quick swim. After that I got ready to go back to England.
6 HOURS LATER…
Stepping off my Learjet 360 private plane Rain was pouring down at Heathrow Airport.
Next, I got home.

Me (Wojtek) and Callum think that the bus to Lake-District will be pretty boring as we cannot bring any devices except from a 1980 DS Switch or book. It’s a 7 hour drive and looking out of the window for 7 hours is boring. However,we are really looking forward to it because we woke up at 4AM.
Day on the bus
Today was the day we woke up and went to school ready for our trip to the Lake District. We got into partners, I went with Callum. Finally our bus arrived at our school. We all got on the coach and started our 7 hour drive. About 1 hour into our drive Callum and I got our 1980 DS switches, we played Mario Carts online. Half an hour later we stopped for a toilet/food break at the services. First we went to the toilets. After that me and Callum got McDonalds, I had a Wrap of the Day and Callum had a Big Mac. We got back on the coach with our school and had a nap. About 2 hours later the scenery started to show up. The view of the birds and the mountains was amazing! The myriad colours of the different types of flowers was eye-catching! Around 2 hours and 20 minutes later we got off the bus, we had a 10 minute walk to the place we were staying at. We finally got to the house and we walked in. That’s when our adventure started!
School Blog
Hi I am Sienna. In this blog my friend Bethany and I are going to tell you about how lockdown was for us. First let us tell you a bit about us: I like to play games like Minecraft and Roblox and Bethany likes to horse ride, play Roblox, sing and take care of lost or hurt animals. Lockdown started off really different and hard: we had to be home schooled and couldn’t go anywhere but on a small walk/run every day; our parents were told to work from home which was hard for them too.
During lockdown, there wasn’t many things we could do as everything was closed so we had to find our own way of having fun! Some of the things I did are: going out for days but couldn’t go indoor; stayed at home and did work; when I was at home I also went on my phone. Bethany did: everyday I went to go and feed my horse and make sure she was happy and safe; I practised my drawing skills and got a lot better; I would go on daily walks with my dog through the forest, collected some painted stones but most importantly, I would stay home and do my school work; I would also facetime my friends and check up on them.
Here are some of the things we missed during quarantine: most of all I missed seeing my family because we always spent time together but when lockdown came we saw each other less; then I miss my neighbour’s dog, I always took her on walks, went round to see her she is amazing and the best, then I also missed being able to have fun out with family and friends. Bethany missed: I missed being able to go and see my best friend (Sienna), I also missed going out with my family for a day out, going on horse rides with my mum, being able to go to school everyday and smiling with my friends, being able to see my cousins but most importantly I missed being able to see my friends and family.
But most important of all we are safe and we are not ill. We may not have liked the situation that we were in but at least we are well and safe from Covid-19.
My 10th birthday
It was my 10th birthday on May the 17th I loved it even though I was stuck at home in lockdown.
I got a series of unfortunate events 3, 4 and 5, a book of riddles, and lot more! My big birthday present was a laptop and it is AMAIZING!!!!
You can’t imagine how amazed I was!
The rubrics cube catastrophe
One of my presents was a Rubik’s Cube. I was so happy when I got it but DUN DUN DUNNN! I was so sad L because it took me ages to work out one side of the Rubik’s Cube, BUT THAT WAS ONLY ONE SIDE! DUN DUN DUNNN! But apart from that my birthday was AMAZING!!!!!
What we did in lockdown
Online school
Online school was way different to normal. In lockdown online school wasn’t the best, it was boring but every two weeks we had a zoom meeting. A zoom meeting is basically a call but, with camera and with the whole class. We had to photocopy all the work, then take a photo and send it to the teacher on G-mail.
Sociality
When we wanted to contact we played Roblox, Fortnite and Among Us. We also created a year 6 group on whatsapp which, has over 20 children. Every month we host a moderater tryout to get more people in charge.

Risard and Joel both love to play football. We both also like to play video games; such as Minecraft, roblox, rocket league and among us. Joel’s favourite subject is math and Risard’s favourite subject is art. Joel’s favourite breakfast is cereal and Risard’s favourite breakfast is waffles and pancakes (with maple syrup).
Hockey:
In year 6, we are doing hockey for PE. Hockey is a type of sport where you can ice skate but you can do the training on grass. For us we did hockey on the grass or the hall. When we did our first lesson on hockey, we were learning how to do dribbling and passing, just to get used to the way of controlling it too. For the next few weeks of PE, we have started to do some defending and attacking and some mini matches, which was very fun!
In Hockey, you obviously have some rules. The rules are, when you whack the ball, it has to be below knee height or else you might get whacked in the face. When we did our first mini match, we could only attack and can only tackle one person at a time. We also swapped teams so we had more fun. In the matches we had four teams, we had over 5 minutes to play our first team, our first team had an all-girl team, our team had one boy. When the five minutes was over, our team won from 5 to 1. After we have done all the matches we won three and lost one.
After a week from the matches, we started to some attacking and defending, we also had to be in partners. After doing the attacking and defending part of the lesson, we started to do three vs three and started to do some new hockey skills.

The Falcon Nine
Hello my name is Henry and I’m here to tell you about the falcon nine.
What is the falcon nine?
If you don’t know what the falcon nine is I will tell you about it. The falcon nine is an orbital class space rocket that was made by spacex. The rocket either resupplies the ISS (international space station) or sends satellites to orbit. This amazing rocket has an older brother the falcon heavy and a younger brother the falcon 1. Very recently this rocket took humans to the ISS on the crew dragon test 2.
Drone ship landing
To save money the falcon nine lands its first stage on either a drone ship or the landing pad. The two drone ships are called: Of course I still love you and just read the instructions. Since most of the first stages land on of course I still love you I think that the drone ship really does love the boosters. Do you think the same?
Satellites
The falcon nine does these starlink missions where the rocket delivers a stack of 60 starlink satellites to low earth orbit (LEO). These satellites are to help grow the upcoming superfast worldwide network called starlink another company made by SpaceX.

Sherlock Holmes is a detective who goes on a lot of mysteries. Sherlock Holmes does not go on mysteries at first but he is a detective when he didn’t go on mysteries. This book started to get better and better, because Sherlock Holmes finally went on mysteries. He got his skills from his father. His father was also a detective and had to leave the country because his boss sent him on a mission to find this criminal. They all thought he would be back in a month but no it took him a year to find this criminal and so he missed his flight.
If you have Sherlock Holmes the book (and seen the film/series) you would know that Sherlock’s dad was a detective like Sherlock and he was so good he got sent on a secret mission to find a terrible criminal that broke out of prison 2 years ago in their time. Some people think Sherlock Holmes made detectives a thing but NO a film doesn’t make a thing. It might make them famous but it will not make a job, even though some people say they hate Sherlock Holmes but don’t mean it they are just worried some of their friends don’t like it and will make fun of them BUT don’t be worried it means you are different and that is good.
Sherlock Holmes’ mother died from an illness. This illness didn’t spread but it would to people that had Asthma. This illness has been stopped 37 years ago and now it is not a thing. People with this illness could not leave the country or county, their homes even if they got it at a friend’s house or anyone’s house (not the shops though if they get it they would have to get everything pay then leave and isolate) they would have to stay home not leave. The family had to send food because the other people that live there could have asthma so they can not stay even if they don’t have asthma.
