Learning and growing together in God's love.

What has been your favourite part of Science week?

Year 6 hosted a egg contest to see which egg would survive a 3 meter drop.   Sadly, eggsavier died R.I.P you lasted 10 minutes.

Eggwin died:(, it was so cool making eggs, but everyone keeps on breaking poor helpless eggs.  By Elwin

This week has been fun so far.  My favourite part so far is the experiment with coca cola and mentos.    By Conor

How to tell if you’re alive…   try walking or breathing maybe even look in a mirror 🙂

This week so far has been amazing

Our favourite experiment was:

When we discovered what would make a bigger explosion coke, diet coke, Caribbean crush, sparkling water and lemonade with mentos.

What was yours?

By Oliver and Conor

I liked the egg throwing.  Ours did not survive it!

Science week was so cool, cracking eggs and using microscopes!

Science week is so much fun (so far)
We threw Eggwin’s/Eggs.

Only Mr.C-Eyeballs  A.K.A Mr.Conroy’s egg survived in 6C !
Also we looked at the microscopes that Notre Dame High School lent to us (thank youuuuu)

it was so fun.  Remember Docter DNA!

Science week is fun

We cracked eggs.

We also learnt about teeth not to mention learning about surface tension and we used stereoscopes and microscopes to look at grass.

Freddie

Yes the microscopes and stereoscopes were cool.

In Science week, I enjoyed:  looking through the microscopes and stereoscopes which were kindly lent to us by Notre Dame High. I also enjoyed the Flash Bang assembly which taught us about science and sewage!

MAD SCIENCE WITH DR DNA

MAD SCIENCE

Upper school in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School [which is:  Yr4, Yr5 and Yr6 ] went crazy with mad science!

Dr.DNA or a hilarious scientist who has no limits  and loves to have fun in the lab.First of all she showed us a peculiar flying toilet roll that zoomed across the hall using the power of her super strong hairdryer which can blow away almost anything!

Secondly 2 competitive children had a water tornado challenge.
