Whitwell Hall is an amazing place to stay.
Activities
We did shelter building we used: rope, a plastic cover and wood that we had to find our selves. When we were finished they were put to the test by pouring water over them. Then we did Orienteering where we wondered around the grounds to find the little stamps.
We also did, river dipping in the River Blackwater and if you’re lucky you might catch a large crayfish and there is a fun challenge at the end when you have to jump in the river, sit down, lay down, roll three times and lastly do three press ups and the rest were: nature art, bracelet making, boat building and boat racing, bat walking, bonfire, fire lighting just to name a few!
The Hall
Do you want a nice place to stay? Well you’re in the right place because the dorms are lovely. Big dorms that fit 15-16 people in. Small dorms that fit 8 people in. An even smaller dorm that fit 3-4 people in. Don’t even get me started on Paula’s food it’s AMAZING for breakfast you get a choice of yummy cereal followed by some toast .For lunch you get a sandwich a bag of crisps, a drink and a little dessert. For dinner you get a choice of lasagne, pasta, meatballs, and fish fingers that’s just some of them.
Wildlife
Do you want to see incredible wildlife? Then go outside and explore the Whitwell grounds. They have AMAZING wildlife such as: fox, badgers, deer, bats, birds, and sheep. In the river you can find: crayfish, small fish and water spiders.
