How Hill! :)

How Hill Trip Year 5!

My Favorite activities!

My 5 Favorite activities were the thatching, clay animal making, food chain game, owl pellet dissection and finally dyke dipping. I enjoyed thatching because it was fun to work as a team and communicate properly. I enjoyed the owl pellet dissection because we were exploring what the owl had eaten that day.

The Dormitory

In our dorm there was a cupboard that we called the ‘Narnia Cupboard’ and we locked each other in but let them out again and took it in turns, it was really fun! My friend Joe visited our room very often and we scared each other based on comedy to have fun. In the night we told scary, comedy stories.

Free Time!

When we had free time we could play in the magnificent gardens or weave inside making a wonderful woollen strip which you could take home and treasure forever and ever. I really enjoyed free time because I loved weaving and playing games with my roomies , this is the place of the heavens!!!

Last week, we went to How Hill and had a great time! We did lots of different activities like owl pellet dissection and boat trips.  We also did roof thatching, dyke dipping, weaving, a nature trail, made creatures with clay and played lifecycle games. Our favourite activities were dyke dipping and owl pellet dissection. We also played huge games of manhunt in the ginormous garden and read stories.  On the second night we had a talent show to earn more points for our room because the teachers came round to the rooms to score us points for tidiness.  Also, the food was delicious.
