YEAR 5 RESIDENTIAL TO WHITWELL HALL – by Ingrid and Theresa

on October 17, 2021

Hi I’m INGRID and I‘m THERESA and today we’re  going to tell  all of you about our residential to Whitwell hall in Reepham (pronounced Reefham).  Whitwell Hall is a great place to stay with high quality meals cooked by the one and only Paula.   Some of the activities we did were orienteering , river dipping where you catch bugs with nets in a river and you can also learn how to light a fire with a man called John. Whitwell Hall lies amongst  40 acres of astonishing Norfolk countryside view.   If you like wildlife and  fun holidays we definitely recommend Whitwell Hall.   It has three campsites and several dormitories that include bunk beds!

Did you know in 1874 there was a fire at the hall?   It has been rebuilt and modernized to make the perfect meeting room and also good for having someone read to you and your friends a bedtime story as it can fit lots of people. Whitwell hall is over a 100 years old which means it is a historic building.

For activities we did shelter building , natural art and pioneering just to name a few.   During pioneering a dog left its owner’s side and came to us (he loves attention he can scent it from faraway).  His name is Ollie but we called him Timothy Doodar.

Whitwell Hall is an amazing place to stay so book now, we’ll be waiting for you.
